Sarah Bendall commenced her role as First Assistant Ombudsman of the National Student Ombudsman in September 2024. Sarah is an experienced lawyer and senior leader with a strong background in delivering large scale dispute resolution services. She has worked in roles responsible for complaints and investigations for 20 years, across sectors ranging from law, health, child protection, public housing and human rights, and domestic building. Sarah is passionate about empowering people to resolve conflict through effective dispute resolution and teaching organisations to use complaints to improve their services, systems and culture.
