Professor Margaret Bearman

Margaret Bearman is a Research Professor within the Centre for Research in Assessment and Digital Learning (CRADLE), Deakin University, with qualifications in both computer science and education. Margaret has researched higher and professional education for over two decades. She is known for her work into assessment practices, feedback in healthcare, and university education in time of artificial intelligence (AI). Margaret’s current research includes projects investigating AI, teaching, learning and assessment; she co-led the construction of national principles guiding Australian university assessment reform for a time of artificial intelligence.
