Ashlyn Horton (she/her) is the 2025 National President of the National Union of Students, representing over one million tertiary students across Australia.

A student at the Australian National University, she studies mathematics and international relations. Originally from Nambour, Queensland, she has been active in student unionism since starting university.

She is a passionate advocate for accessible education and for student voices to be centred in national policy, with a focus on accountability, equity, and student wellbeing across the higher education system.
